COVID-19 PANDEMIC INFORMATION

During these uncertain times, The Orthopedic Center is proud to continue offering essential orthopedic in particular to those working hard to keep everyone healthy, our nation safe, and our supplies replenished.

At the Orthopedic Center, patient safety and well-being has always been our priority. In light of the pandemic, patients should be assured that we employ the highest standards of safety and infection control protocols.

Those patients with acute limb or back injuries will be prioritized. Surgical services are restricted to patients suffering from pain or injuries that threaten their mobility and ability to self-care. These include conditions causing severe pain, fractures, or infections. Please contact our office to discuss your needs. In case of a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the closest emergency room.

For the safety of our patients and our staff, if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, please call our office to reschedule your appointment. If you have a post-operative appointment and have any symptoms, please call our office before coming to your appointment.

In addition, we ask patients who have recently traveled to the following areas to wait 14 days after their return to schedule or attend any appointments: Any International travel, cruise ship trips, and domestic travel to states with a high number of community infections.

If you have been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask you to stay home and wait 14 days prior to scheduling your visit with us.

If you are symptom-free and plan to attend your appointment, we are asking for assistance in stopping the spread of viruses by limiting those attending an appointment with you to one healthy adult guest only. Minors under the age of 17 should only come to the office if they are the patient. The CDC is recommending social distancing, so we are minimizing the number of people in our facility.
